This is a cute little figurine Made in Japan by Maso Shafford Ware, it has a little dog facing a fire hydrant both on a green surfaced little tray. Beautifully done. There is the remains of an old label on top which has "............. the Mountain" legible on it. The Maso Shafford Ware mark appears to be a turn of the century mark, perhaps older. I have not found out much about it. This piece measures 5" long by 3 1/2" wide and 3" to the top of the hydrant.
