Angelica Kauffman signed plate 2 by Victoria China, Austria. This large plate has a rippled edge with embossed beads and gold designs in a dark green border. The center is a picture done by Angelica Kauffman which shows two ladies attending their mistress who is perched in a throne like chair playing with an almost naked cherub. It is signed Kauffman in the lower left. The inside bowl has some white streaks on top of the ripples around it and there are some surface scratches in the glaze.
This plate is 9 3/4" in diameter and has a green crown mark with "Victoria Austria" and the number 70. this plate is a match to the other green Angelica Kauffman plates I have on sale and also to the two plates with red borders.
