1983 numbered plate from the Masterpiece Series. "The Lovely Reader by Jean Listard". This lovely plate was based on the art of Jean Listard from 1756 which was used on an original historic US 10 cent stamp issued in 1974 with the original in the Ryksmuseum in Amsterdam. The front has the artist's signature and date.
The plate's bottom has an image of the stamp, the title etc. with the above information and the number which is 2125 and the firing master "R.T.". On the bottom is "The International Museum, McAllen Texas".
The plate is 8 1/2" in diameter.
