Sadler "Southern Belle" teapot with the pot being the crinoline skirt and the belle being the lid. Exceptional design in a teapot! Light pink to suit her fancy gown and rings of lace surround the pot. A unique 3 part locking system holds the lid from falling while pouring. Unfortunately someone was not aware of this and chipped the inside of the teapot rim slightly trying to open it. (No, it was not me!) The lid is still held securely and the chip is minor and on the inside. It looks bigger in the picture but part of it was the hole for locking the lid.
